A poke at the powers that be

Worcester native Aaron Richard Golub is a high-profile Manhattan trial attorney who specializes in entertainment and commercial litigation.

Referred to some years ago by New York Magazine as the “new Roy Cohn” for his theatrical and charged courtroom work, Mr. Golub has represented clients who have taken on such Tinseltown celebrities as Dino De Laurentiis, Martin Scorsese, Brooke Shields and William Hurt, as well as big corporate interests such as Penthouse Magazine, Universal Studios and Warner Brothers.

Mr. Golub, who grew up for much of his boyhood in a flat above the small market that his parents owned on Green Street, said he credits much of his career and other successes on the tough lessons he learned on the gritty streets of Green Island.
